Hi All,
I have talked to many of you about our trip to Memphis this last week and about the project we had of cleaning out Art's Grandaddy's house to get it ready to sell. We were so relieved that he was grateful for our efforts and not upset about not being able to live on his own anymore. That was a big concern. He is such a sweet man, we were happy we could do this for him.
Here are a few of the AFTER photos. Art's brother and wife, Jeff and Allison came up from Jackson, Mississippi a got the big job of starting the project when Art and I were still on our way in last Saturday and they didn't think about taking any before photos. I think that might be a good thing because when you think of your family member living in the condition he was, it makes you really sad.
As you can see the house was a very tastefully decorated in the 70's but didn't far well over the years. I wish I took a photo of the bathroom with it's brown foil paper with butterflies and kelly green curtains!
